instructional technologies in classroom learning. Design and develop Zane State College specific mobile web applications. Provide support
for the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) by proactively tracking, planning, testing, and ensuring the timely reporting for
required maintenance and upgrade options such as standard service packs, emergency patches, and others. Troubleshoot and facilitate problem
resolution of Blackboard. In conjunction with the Director of Distance Education and Alternative Learning write, edit, and update web
content for faculty and student resource websites, as well as, assist with training and support for Blackboard and other online learning
tools used by faculty and students.
A bachelor's degree in education, instructional technology, multimedia, or other related academic or technical fields. A good understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns; good understanding of tools needed such as HTML5, CSS, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and PHP; experience building web and native apps, and experience using social media APIs. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively convey complex educational and technical concepts.
